Wei Hai Director of Education Cable Post-Master General

Postal Censor each draw 4 dollars per day in addition to substantive pay without working overtime two Government schoolmasters with special qualifications in foreign languages seconded for postal censorship each receive same pay above working Government hours without school holidays three other officers on full pay two for Chinese Censoring employed as Assistant Cable Censors (?)75 cents per hour certain Chinese clerks draw censorship allowances without working overtime various naval officers military officers private persons censor in spare time for small payment per hour.
